ERU Emergency Response Unit

In 2018 the Committee applied for a $89,000 grant to create an Emergency Response Unit to handle on site emergencies for the park on busy patron days and during Special Events. This grant through the Salem Wellness Foundation was granted at a level of $15,944.37. Even though this is not what is needed to fully fund the operation, it did allow the Committee to send volunteers to training to become Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and to purchase some equipment and supplies.
